How does this amazing find only have four stars?! Incredible food, excellent service and so reasonably priced there no surprise it was packed on a Tuesday night. We have absolutely delicious shrimp and octopus-both magnificent portions, and a bottle of great vinho branca. A fantastic experience-so much better food in the downtown tourist areas!

This is a very good example of a typical Portuguese restaurant, from the decorations to the wait staff (all male), and of course, the food.
We had olives and rissois de camarão fingers food for appetizers, then moved on to sapateira (an amazing crab spread) and mussels for 1st dish, along with garlic bread, and then an amazing arroz de mariscos for our main dish.
The desserts are very good too, although I would recommend sharing them because the savory dishes are certainly better.
I highly recommend it if you wish to have an authentic Portuguese dining experience in the Lisbon metropolitan area.- Tipo de refeição

Good people, good food, very authentic delicious home made food, fyi bring your google translate everything on menu is in Portuguese.
Nice old fashioned place. Had grilled squid, octopus rice and fried cuttlefish. We have been in Portugal for about 3 weeks and this was the best tasting and most tender octopus rice. Squid was delicious and nice and garlicky and quite tender. They pulled the squid out of the fresh fish case and sent it to the kitchen. Cuttlefish was same as we have been having. Was $70 for the three of us.

Outstanding! We stumbled across this place whilst walking around the area. 2 of us shared a feijoada and one of us had carne de porco alentejana! We can not fault either! Simply superb! This definitely won’t be the last time we come here!

Enjoyed the quiet setting. The fish fillet is amazing! One of my favorites in Portugal. Especially for seafood! Very highly recommend!
Our first might in Lisbon from Canada. The waiters we so helpful, especially Edgar. And the food was amazing. The freshly made crab dip was so good! We will be returning to Floresta de Moscavide before our return to Canada!!!
Open on Sunday nights! We had an early morning flight and needed an option other than the hotel. It was a 45 minute walk from TRYP Aeroporto (took the metro back) but the service was great, grilled salmon and grouper risotto very tasty and prices reasonable. Felt like a local place and would recommend.
A very good restaurant with lots of hospitality and stories about football teams of Lisbon. Cristiano Ronaldo has a past in this place... Try it and you won't regret.
Excellent Portuguese food. Very friendly staff and great deserts!
